Sliding Gun Box Installation

Thank you for choosing Blacktip Designs. Follow the steps below to install your sliding gun box.

Step 1 – Remove the Front Panel

• Slide the front panel to the right and remove it.
• Remove the foam insert.

Step 2 – Customize the Foam

• Place your item on the foam and trace its outline.
• Carefully cut along the outline using a sharp utility knife.
• Peel away foam layers until the desired depth is reached.
• Test fit your item and make any necessary adjustments.

Step 3 – Mount the Box

• Position the box where you'd like to install it.
• Use a level to ensure it is straight.
• Mark the mounting hole locations.
• Install wall anchors if necessary.
• Secure the box using the included screws.
• Slide the front panel back into place.

Using the Optional Magnetic Lock

Your box ships unlocked.

If your box includes the optional magnetic lock and you're unsure how to lock or unlock it, watch the short video below.

Lock Operation

• To Lock: Press the latch until it clicks into the locked position.
• To Unlock: Hold the red side of the magnetic key against the back of the lock while opening the door.
